Wests is proud to be a leading club in the development of Womens cricket in the district and has a strong training programme and support network for players. Offering both competitive and social competitions there is a format to suit all abilities and skills, even those who have not played cricket before.
T20 Midweek
The Womens T20 competition started as a 4 team x 4 round competition in the 2019/20 season and Wests is proud to have fielded teams since its inauguration. It has grown rapidly in the last 3 seasons and Wests took home the Premiers trophy in 2021/22.
2022/23 will see all Grade clubs fielding teams for the first time and an extension to 12 round matches. Played mid week on turf wickets, Wests will field 2 x teams and will strive to bring home the top prize again.
Social Smash
Want to play cricket in a simple yet fun format? Womens Social Smash offers a less-structured game with a focus on social interaction and not on performance or results. Traditionally played on Sunday afternoons, 16 overs a side it is the fun way to keep fit and have fun with the girls!
