Another unusual season has come to a close and once again we find ourselves very grateful for having played any cricket under the circumstances.

Even with the main obstacles of Covid-19 and poor weather, congratulations are in order to everyone for the exceptional effort put in to get the season played.

Our male competition ran through November to February and saw the introduction of Quarter/Elimination finals rounds for the first time. We also had great success with the introduction of Country sides in the Foster and Watson Shields. This allowed for the strongest cricket to be played this season and for teams to develop and grow in an ever evolving competition. The standard of cricket played during the Grand Final matches this season is to be highly commended and congratulations to all on your exceptional spirit of the game.

The 2021/22 Champions for each age division are:

U12 Cawsey Shield Winners – Blacktown

U12 Foster Shield Winners – Parramatta

U13 Gee Shield Winners – Northern District

U13 Creak Shield Winners – Manly Warringah

U14 Moore Shield Winners – North Shore

U15 Weblin Shield Winners – Manly Warringah

U17 Watson Shield Winners – Manly Warringah

Thanks and congratulations are extended to our wonderful volunteers who make cricket possible. Cricket NSW recognises all the coaches, managers, scorers, supporters, administrators and families who support junior cricket and make the Junior Pathway possible.

We look forward to next season and continuing to grow the Youth Championships competitions for NSW future cricketing stars.
